Whatever it takes to keep yourself safe
That’s the pattern
The pattern hasn’t worked
The pattern that you say you want to break
Yet the pattern you so easily fall into
But not this time
The stakes were higher
There was far more to loose
They say it takes courage to be vulnerable
Yet through vulnerability I now understand courage
